New Year 2010

7年ぶりの日本でのお正月。
友達と日の出を見て、そのあとは神田明神で初詣。
やっぱり日本のお正月はいいですね。
紅白、ゆく年くる年をみると日本のお正月の実感が高まります。
皆様にとって2010年が良い年でありますように！

12月といえば日本では忘年会のシーズンですよね。

久しぶりに日本で年末を迎えることが新鮮です。
昨日はFirenzeでの一番古い友人　心君の忘年会に参加させていただきました。
心君はイタリアから到着してその日の夜の忘年会なのに、元気で場を盛り上げてくれました！心君、Kyouちゃん、おめでとう！本当にすてきな二人です！

この日はもうひとりFirenzeの友人、Haruさんも忘年会に参加で、この三人が日本で忘年会してるなんて、ちょっと面白かった（笑）。

Meeting Mr. Renoma in Shanghai

Today I had lunch with Minori san from Croon a Song in Asakusa.

We found traditional Japanese public bath while we were walking and its only seen in downtown of Tokyo.

Late evening I catched up my friends and we went to Mori tower in Roppongi.
The view was greater than I expcted.

My Tokyo Office

My new office is still need some work but its getting like real office now...
It's is located in Asakusabashi, east side of central tokyo where there are a lot of fashion apparel makers, accessories, fabrics, a lot of traditional artisan studios etc.... You'll be able to find caltual reminiscence of old tokyo and its near to Ryogoku where there is Sumo Arena (I often see sumo wrestler on the train )it is the best place for creator. You can't find any better place.

Even though I grew up in this side of Tokyo (downtown ) I am still exploring something new everyday near my office.

I was so surprised when I first see all those supplier shops and I was just as excited as a little child in the toy store.

I just had friends visited my office (one from Italy what a surprise!) and I heared a lot of fashion industry ppl started moving their offices to this area from Aoyama or Shibuya area.

I found out that Mayumi san from Swati candle has office not far from mine, so I ended up visiting her office.
They were having meeting for limited edition candle for "odette e odile" shop and it was so sweet!!! Dress, shoes, purfume shaped candles are placed in the box like a book...The concept is whats in the box is something girls would love and come along with short story .

We had to come up with nice short romantic story and we finally made it!

We chose title "That's my life"!!!

Music is really important when I do design it help me getting inspirations.

Thanks for Chad Hurley ( He graduated from IUP!)I can view images what I want easily while sitting in the office.

I really love new Lily Allen's music video "Not Fair".
First I heard this song by watching Chanel SS collection 2010.
I like her retrospective country look and her jump suit in the video.

Evgeni Plushenko

I became a fun of Plushenko. I think he is not only a amazing skater but also has a great sence of dancing. His movement is presicely synchronized to music. It's quite inspireing to watch someone who has impeccable talent but also truly loves what he/she is doing!


And I often like his costume and music!

A presto! Florence

After 7 years in Florence I felt I need to take a break.

I know its sound crazy but even I am living in one of the most beautiful city in the world I just felt need to relocate myself.

After SS2009 collection, I have no clear plan what so ever but I decided to go back to Tokyo for a while.

Moving your base is Big thing...its not easy..you must start from zero again but actually you are not losing what you have created, just like you have to draw something new on the untouched surface.

I always followed my instinct and I believe I still have rooms to challenge in my life.

I had a "last supper" with my closest friends in Florence.

I couldnt have time to meet everyone before leave..and I am not good at saying gooedye to friends and its become endless like "when u leaving? ok see you one more time before you leave..."

I 'd like to thank them for all their support and wonderful time in all those years.

And I must thank to all who love Altrove bag and their encouragement and support from every places in the world.

I am not stop being a creator and though I take a break on Altrove collection, I will post new project I 'll be working on.
